It is not feasible to keep on increasing the size of disk space.

So we need to know the safest way to remove the old files of old fixpack versions.

  • What all could be the impacts of not keeping these files at all.
  • From which version of fixpack Installation Manager is introduced.

We are assuming that the concern is the backups that are taken to enable a rollback of a fixpack. If so then it is possible to manage these and we have a support doc that covers the steps to manage this using IBM Installation Manager. Would you be able to take a look and let us know if this addresses the problem?
