adding a return code for the AdminTask object methods

I have been writing Jython scripts to perform basic tasks such as creating and deleting JAAS Application and J2C Auth entries in WebSphere. I noticed that some of the methods return no value so it is not easy to determine whether or not they have worked when called in a try except block. Would it be possible to adapt the methods listed here such as deleteAuthDataEntry https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/was-nd/9.0.5?topic=scripting-securityconfigurationcommands-command-group-admintask-object so that instead of returning no output - they all at least return a 0 for success and a numeric error code for failure?

Thank you for the suggestion. The requirement does have merit, but looking at it with respect to our total backlog of requests we do not see sufficient interest in this enhancement to merit delivery any time in the foreseeable future. Given the unlikelihood that we would deliver this, we are declining the request rather than leaving it in an uncommitted state for an extended period of time. If you would like to discuss this decision further, please contact Graham Charters <charters@uk.ibm.com>.
